"Take 231 to CJC"

Just an encounter on Friday afternoon..

There's a student who came all the way from pasir ris and wanted to go to Catholic JC (CJ), but apparently when he asked the bus captains at toa payoh int, he was told to take 231. (guess they misheard as CHIJ)

So a distraught him alighted at Lorong 1 and hitched a cab, though he was late already.. there were 3 BCs in total in the 231W i was taking who initially was unable to figure out where is CJ, then after my explanation they realised which place the poor student was going to.

CJC is along PIE opp the old Police Academy, from Toa Payoh take sv105,132 57 alight @ Whitley Rd

Alight at TP Lor 1 also can, just walk 2 stops to CJC lor.
Although the "2 stops" are very far. Very Happy

Actually you should have told him to walk along the road shoulder of PIE, walk till you see CJC at the opposite, then you dash across the road.
